Employee Opinion Survey, Organizational Improvement and Productivity Enhancement for DPW
After completing an Employee Opinion Survey for approximately four hundred personnel, PME was further tasked to devise a Strategic Action Plan and a Communication Plan that would be used to pilot needed changes to the culture, structure and operation at the Department of Public Works (DPW).

- Completed an Employee Opinion Survey (EOS) to gauge and prioritize employee needs; the inaugural survey yielded more than 25,000 responses with an impressive 77% response rate.
- Established credible benchmarks to measure current state and pilot desired state improvements.
- Developed recommendations that would improve the organization’s performance without sacrifice to the quality, timeliness, or effectiveness of the services it provides.
- Prepared action plans for each DPW bureau, meet with bureau leaders, facilitate employee focus groups, and continue to refine specific next steps aimed at boosting employee satisfaction, increasing advancement opportunities, enhancing productivity, and improving overall performance in DPW.
