Quality Assurance
Quality Assurance is one of the most important activities to be performed by anyone responsible for overseeing that services are being accomplished (by in-house or contracted personnel) in accordance with expectations.
Unfortunately, far too often, insufficient emphasis and resources are dedicated to quality assurance, and this is a common reason why some programs fail, exceed their budgets, miss deadlines, or generally miss the mark. Investing properly in quality assurance will significantly raise the probability of a successful outcome and will likely save you money in the long run.
"People don’t respect what you expect; rather they respect what you inspect!"
The opposite is also true – a lack of quality assurance will likely lead to an unsuccessful outcome and too much money expended. PME believes that quality assurance should be scaled appropriately to the organization or function – not too much, not too little. We are also proponents of adjusting the level of surveillance based on actual performance.
PME has personnel that are experts in the field of quality assurance and quality control, certified as Six Sigma Black Belts, and members of the American Society of Quality (ASQ). We provide the expertise required to author and implement an effective QA plan.
